Winds: East-northeast at 9 to 16mph at first, increasing to 16 to 25mph later this afternoon and tonight and gusting higher occasionally.
Seas: Deteriorating seas, quickly building to 8 to 10 feet or 2.4 to 3.1meters, with northerly swells of 2.4 meters or 8feet. A small craft advisory and a High surf advisory are now in effect for hazardous marine conditions. Small craft operators and sea bathers should avoid the waters mainly on the north and eastern side of the islands.
Weather Forecast for St. Kitts & Nevis: Clouds associated with a weakening front will be affecting weather conditions over the Leewards today and tonight; after its passage, a building ridge will result in an increase in winds and deteriorating seas in the coastal waters surrounding these islands.

Eastern Caribbean Forecast: Moisture from a weakening front will cause an increase in clouds over the Leewards and islands westward to Puerto Rico today. Weather conditions over these islands will be partly cloudy to cloudy and breezy with light showers. Generally, partly cloudy with cloudy skies are also expected over Trinidad and Tobago today. The rest of the islands which include northern, central and southern Windwards will see generally fair to partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of showers.
